Turbidity sensor

Measuring water quality with Turbidity sensors

A turbidity sensor measures suspended solids in water, typically by measuring the amount of light transmitted through the water. They are used in river and stream gaging, wastewater and effluent measurements, control instrumentation for settling ponds, sediment transport research, and laboratory measurements.

Typical Use of Analite Turbidity sensors

Analite turbidity sensors typical use are field monitoring, final effluent treatment monitoring, streams and rivers, water storage bodies including stratification studies, Dredging turbidity monitoring operations, Ocean and marine environment, as well as lake, wastewater or drinking water efficiency. Our sensors are also used for Hydrological run off studies,
Ground and bore water analysis,
Industrial process monitoring or
Sediment load monitoring and studies. Other applications involve in situ continuous monitoring of turbidity, freshwater or seawater samples and determine water quality, water sampling, water quality testing and management, stream measurement, including reservoir water quality testing for Environmental monitoring.
